My name is Josh Dunaway and I am a web and graphic designer living in Gadsden, Alabama. I have a degree as an Internet Webmaster Technician from Virginia College, and I am CIW Certified. I became passionate about web and graphic design when I was 12 years old. At that time the internet was just starting to evolve into what it is today, getting away from AOL Keywords and the whole "contained" experience. I picked up a copy of The Idiot's Guide to HTML and started teaching myself HTML. I thought that it was incredible that you could create something beautiful out of lines of code. From that point on, I was hooked. Sixteen years later design is still my passion, my life.

I have been a professional designer for the past 6 years. I was the Assistant Webmaster for Virginia College for a period of time, and I've also had the pleasure of freelancing for some design firms in the Birmingham, Alabama area such as MITM Marketing, Provenance Digital Media, and Dirextion, Inc.

In August of 2009 I was contacted out of the blue via Twitter by Dustin Tanner, a local geek that at that time I had never met. He asked if I'd like to help him establish a new web and graphic design firm here in the Gadsden area. I jumped on board, and in November of 2009 Simple Pixel Media, LLC. was formed by Dustin Tanner. I became the exclusive freelance designer for all things Simple Pixel Media from its creation in November 2009 through March of 2011 when more contractors were enlisted to help meet the growing demand. I currently still work with Simple Pixel Media on a contract basis.

Aside from being a digital media artist, I'm also a gamer, a music junkie and an avid concert-goer, an Apple fanboy, and an all-around geek. I'm a husband, an uncle to 4 amazing kids, a brother, and a son.
